Just absurd

It was a planet decades and decades ago - and it should remain that way.

If you want to see what endlessly meddling, simply because you can, leads to go check the EU out.....

It goes beyond Neptune sometimes in the orbit...doesn't that mean anything? Pluto is like the Dennis Rodman of Planets. No Respect...because of it's outlandish ways. A darn shame.

Well, the book companies are going to make more money now.  Just think of all the texts that have Pluto as the ninth planet in our solar system.  All that has to be changed.  Hmmmm....our science series isn't up for another text adoption for at least 2 more years.

It's fun to see what everyone else has used to remember the order of the planets.  We always use:

My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas

Last year, my 2nd graders really loved learning about the solar system.  It was amazing how they all remembered that Pluto was the 8th planet for a 20 year period every 200 something years.  (crap, I'm old and can't even remember exactly what I taught 'em now!   hihi)  Little factoids like that, they can remember...but the stuff that we actually have to know for a test?   no

Ok...so, y'all keep me updated so I'll know what to teach the kiddies this year!   hihi

Yes, and let's bring back slavery! Endless meddling through the years has ruined the cotton industry...

Any chance Pluto crashes into Neptune during one of its orbit changes and ends this fucking debate? Because I'd rather see that.

Hey!! Sign this here petition to get them to take back their insulting demotion and relocate Pluto back to its former grand status! Just because its small and it has a wonky orbit doesn't make it any less of a planet!

Funny to see this thread brought back to life when I passed a guy at lunch with a bumper sticker saying "Honk if you think Pluto is still a planet!" hihi

i say it is a planet because i dont think that NASA would send a multi million dollar camera out to go look at a giant rock. Another thing that bothers me is that why don't they stop making these camera's that cost billions and instead build a new ship. They need a new one after all this other crap has happened with 2 of them blowing up.

lets start a new petition saying "build a new ship" if they can aford all those giant teloscopes and camera's and rovers and orbitors they can build a new ship.

peace
