New Season Premiere Wednesday night!
From the Comedy Central Press Release:
CARTMAN COMES FACE TO FACE WITH HIS OWN MORTALITY
IN THE SEASON 12 PREMIERE OF "SOUTH PARK" ON
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 12 AT 10:00 P.M.* ON COMEDY CENTRAL

NEW YORK, March 10, 2008 ? Cartman?s routine tonsillectomy goes horribly wrong in an all-new episode of "South Park." Coming off record ratings in season 11 and the now infamous ?Imaginationland? trilogy, ?South Park? returns for its 12th season with seven all-new episodes beginning Wednesday, March 12 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL. Fans will be able to download the uncensored version of each new episode from the 12th season on iTunes, xBox LIVE and Amazon Unbox.

The face of South Park could change forever when Eric Cartman is diagnosed with an incurable disease in the premiere episode, entitled ?Tonsil Trouble.? When the support Cartman is counting on falls short, he has to take matters into his own hands.

Am I the only one who thought "Imaginationland" was just ok, and not really great?  It was an interesting departure from the norm, but I didn't think it was the best thing ever.

Anyway...

Hey Hill-dog!  Since you started this thread, how about changing the thread title to "South Park," since we've been using for multiple seasons?

it had potential to be amazing for sure.  rumor was they were going to make it into a feature length movie, but couldn't think of enough scenes.  The DVD apparently has a lot of deleted scenes that i'm guessing are pretty hysterical.

there were some extremely funny scenes though.  every time i think of Jason saying "thats super hardcore" i can't but help smile, so funny.

manbearpig and al gore were great too.

My preview says:

we're not saying we could do better we're saying that it could have been better. Think about some of the scenes that were in there and think of something else that could've been added as a filler or something. It could have easily been made into a movie, imo.

wow

deffinatly not the best episode ever. The build up and everything was just fine no problems there but the way they ended it was so medocre. The last 7 8 minutes could have needed a be thought about more.

spoilers contained for those who may have missed it.

I thought it was pretty funny. Cartman breaks in to kyles house to give him aids.  rofl Thats fuckin hilarious. I also loved how aids is now "retro" and how they had to fake having cancer to get plane tickets because they no longer offer people with aids anything.  rofl The dude driving up in africa to tell them all they have to do is inject themselves with money.  rofl

It wasnt one of the best episodes but it still had me crackin up.  smoking
