they only needed red white and crue really. That was big enough in sales anyway and the tour off it.

They should've listed a couple of those Alice In Chains collections.

I'm a fan, but that band has a few too many "best of" collections.

Nothing Safe: Best of the Box,  Greatest Hits and The Essential Alice in Chains....

But that's nothing compared to Aerosmith...   Wink

Agreed-don't forget Motley Crue-I like Motley, but I think there are in essence 3 greatest hits albums-Decade of Decadence, a greatest hits in the early about 7 or 8 years ago, and the Red, White and Crue or whatever it was called in 2004-some on-I'll look someday to see how many albums you can find some kind of version os Shout at the Devil

I hate the bands that tack on new songs to their GH packages.  It punishes the true fans.

Sublime only had 3 albums released and at least that many GHs.

Dylan has had a boat load too.

Quote
sales were well below those expected from the group, with initial sales of only 32 units in the U.S.

Bruce Willis, or Bruno, as he's called by graying douche bags who prefer their blues served with a heaping side of financially stable and untroubled by the ills of the world, did release a couple of albums back in the 80's.

To be fair, Aerosmith had nothing to do with the release of Young Lust as a Greatest Hits album. They responded by releasing Oh Yeah!.

Seriously, that's why they had two two-disc greatest hits album within 6 months.

Shouldn't a greatest hits album be released when the band is truely done and all their 'hits' and such?

That's my opinion atleast..

Totally agree with that. These days artists release them after they've been going for. about 2 years which is ridiculous

I'm a VR fan, but I've got a feeling they've got one of them in the works and coming soon.
