Would it be a smart move for GNR to hit the talk show circuit while they are in the New York area? I personal think it could be a good move to make a couple of appearances....

Would be good promotion for the album, of course theres rumours they will (what isnt there rumours for?).

would be cool to see GNR on a chat show, just a question of whether Axl would be there on time.

he was at the vma's on time... i think this whole concept of being "late," is overblown.  According to the Del James article, axl and the band think that starting their set at 11 or 12 is acceptable because it's "rock n' roll."  I agree - late is a relative term.

I think considering NY's strong appreciation for GNR which they have acknowledged, it would be a nice return gesture for Axl to be featured in an interview or something like that while he is there..

Couldn't hurt by any means. Of course we all know Axl would have to represent the band, but personally the only show I see him 'fitting in' on, would be Conan.

I would've loved to see them on Letterman also.
