do you have a problem with me quoting what the band says? do you feel uncomfortable when their quotes work against you?

How is that working against me? If you are to shallow to voice opionions that are negative, when the situation warrents, than that is your problem. I dont need to use other poeples words, I can think on my own. If you are crazy to believe every lie this bands tells you, and to follow blindly, too bad for you. If you cant honestly say that it is ABSURD that there could be this many reasons to do something as simple as putting out a record, than you cant think on your own.

My problem is with people saying who can be a fan and who cant be a fan.

This Italian thing is pretty old news, they announced this pretty much when they realizes 2006 wasnt happening. ?They even have a video on Youtube discussing it.

AxlGurl, you dont make money off of GNR fans, Axl does, so until youre manager of the band or invest in it, i dont think you should be telling people that they should "not buy the cd" if they arent "true fans." ?You call people who have been here for years and who are frustrated not true fans. Thats messed up.

The Italian site shutting down is really ignorant, but I understand. ?They probably pay for their site with advertisements based on the amount of hits they get. ?If they have no news to report and no album, they wont get hits. ?If people keep getting more and more impatient and there isnt much for them to report on, pretty much the site turns into "This sucks", "Reunion" and "Remember 1988" threads and topics. ?So if the site isnt accomplishing anything they might as well shut down. ?Still they shouldnt blame it on Axl or feel its Axl's fault.

They still have embraced the new gnr and "got on board." ?The quote you keep referring to didnt say "Support all the delays and only people who always think what Axl does is right are true fans." ?It was referring to getting on board with the new band. ?That quote would work if someone was saying "Bring back Slash" etc... but thats not what people are saying. ?The people who complain are as big of fans as anyone and im sure these italian guys are huge fans too. ?Fact is your pocketbook, your reputation, your legacy, and the rest of your life is not affected by the amount of people who supports the new band when the CD is released...Axl's is. ?So I think you telling people to "fuck off" is actually irresponsable and not "getting on board." ?You really dont contribute to discussions when you just say "Get on board or fuck off."

This thread certainly has both ends of the spectrum.... The Italian forum owners and "Bruno Poeys" & "axlgurl".

Personally, I think both attitudes are garbage.

I call garbage attitudes of people coming here to make fun of fans supporting the band or just people shit talking. If they don't want to support, fine, but come here each second to say that Axl was better before and that jarmo should close this forum is just ridiculous. 
I'm glad that someone else also doesn't like the way that some people act. Some attitudes are just annoying and some people here actually are annoying.

I think if we all had the same attitudes and beliefs the board would be pretty boring. Different opinions and diversity is what makes boards interesting.
