IF THIS LISBON SHOW IS THE FIRST SHOW THEY PLAY BETWEEN NOW AND MAY,
THAT SHOW HAS GOT TO BE THE DEFINING MOMENT WHERE GN'R IS SOLIDIFIED
AS A REAL BAND, WITH THEIR OWN MUSIC, THEIR OWN SOUND AND THEIR OWN ALBUM. NOT A COVER BAND. THEY CANT OPEN THE SHOW WITH 5 STRAIGHT SONGS FROM THE OLD BAND, IF THEY DO, I THINK ITS A LOST CAUSE. Get rid of most the appetite songs and play some fucking illusion songs is what i want, and of course, some new shit for sure.

I'm not a huge Coma fan, but it would be interesting to see what Bucket, Finck, and Fortus could do with that song. And get rid of Think About You.

I tried to think up a set list, but without hearing (brand) new songs, as i think the album will be out by then or soon after, it was too hard.  I have favorites that I know will probably never be played again (locomotive, perfect crime, double talkin jive etc) so I hope that they cut some AFD songs, the cover songs and even a hit or two (NR)  in favor of new songs and a few UYI tracks.    I want new songs!!!!!!!!!!  It would be great if they learned a crapload of  songs so they could change the set from show to show, like early in the Illusion's tour.  In an old interview Matt said he had to learn 30 songs for the first leg of the tour and they picked from those to play.

As far as the setlist if I was going I (personally) would want 50\50 minimum...the old songs should definitely NOT out number new ones...this will all be moot if there is no album release before this gig but this is like a fantasy thread anyway right?
