Title: Estranged pact between Axl and Slash?
Post by: estrangedpaul on February 22, 2006, 01:18:09 PM
Someone just told me that Axl and Slash made a pact that one of them cannot play Estranged without the other. Is that true? Anyone have a link to an interview it was mentioned in. Why this song - it was always considered Axl's baby rather than a collaborative effort although he did thank Slash in the record sleeve. I suppose Slash would never play that song without Axl anyway coz Axl is the only only one with a songwriting credit, but it just seems like an odd pact to make.

I've never heard of this.

In 02 at one of the gigs Axl talks about an arguement and how hard it was to try and get Slash & Duff to want to do it.
