'I went down the road...saw my girlfriend..we went to the pub'
Lyrical genius!
Talking about ur day is NOT talent, and being able to relate to someone talking about going on holiday is hardly challenging.

Thats obviously your opinion, for alot of people work, eat, sleep, drink IS life. Its all peoples own opinions.

I fail to see ur point,
because some people work eat and sleep - songs in which someone talks about that in a slow monotonous voice is talent?
I don't know about u but i could write about every day things and then talk about it and certainly do no worse than they manage. The Street's are the complete abscene of talent.
See I reckon you're about an 8 or a 9,
Maybe even 9 and a half in four beers time.
That blue top shop top you've got on IS nice,
Bit too much fake tan though - but yeah you score high.

Well i like them. And if you are accusing The Streets of poor lyrics - look at Def Leppard, i mean there stuff rocks but for example - "Red light, yellow light, green light GO!" and "Lets get, lets get, lets get rocked!" - not exactly amazing stuff is it?!

I have never seen a act with So many rubbish songs.... and so many good ones too.
They are definatly a greatest hits bands.
Just wondered what everyone else thinks of them. I'm expecting quite a bit of bashing considering its a GNR board, but i honestly think that some is really soulful and some great storytelling songs.
