I have a feeling he's gonna drop all three albums at once.  In Slash's book, he talked about how Axl was really pushing the label to release UYI as a double album in order to give people a sense of where GN'R was with their musical evolution at that exact moment in time.  Slash said that Axl wanted to sort of get all the songs they'd worked on off the band's collective chest.  The label was hesitant, but Axl really pushed for it, and we all know how successful and epic those two albums were!  Anyway, just a theory, but i could see CD being a three or four disc box set.

Sorry to be a dumbass here, but where did Atlas Shrugged come from? I've been reading alot about it but haven't heard about it.  I think to hear Oklahoma would be cool because of all the talk about it, but with CITR it may seem dated to include it.

Oh, it has been mentioned... every which way..!

Here's to hoping, though!  beer

Aside from Slash returning, the only other thing I can think of to WMDs-in-Iraq-slam-dunk critics would be a huge trilogy release as you suggest.

i would really like to hear cleaned up revamped versions of catcher, Rhiad and oh my god...... and maybe even silkworms as a b side..  i'm happy with all of the other leaks.. i don't think the other songs would improve much on the album.  maybe Madagascar.  that one of my favorites back in 01... but i wasn't that impressed with the leak.
i would also like to see This I love surface.

I find it amusing that people are able to speculate on stuff that itself, is based mainly on speculation, snippets of conversation and leaked materials dating over the years.  What would make it interesting was if this was made competitive, e.g. 1 point for getting a correct title on the album, and 3 points for getting it in the correct place in the CD line up? Smiley  beer

I speculate that the CD line up has changed umpteen times, from songs in and out to feel and style of the music.  Still if the record label do have the CD then only a few people must have access to it because nothing is coming our from them in terms of ANY information.  Of course that is pure speculation based on well, not a lot.  My guess though (because I am competitive) is:
1. Chinese Democracy
2. The Blues
3. Better
4. Catcher in the Rye
5. Prostitute
6. This I Love
7. IRS
8. The General
9. Sorry
10. Rhiad and the Bedouins
11. Madagascar
12. Atlas Shrugged

Oklahoma is not Rhiad, this was cleared up after a false track list appeared after HOB 2001. IRS is not Oklahoma. Oklahoma is a song about (not completely) his thoughts about the OK city bombing....
