Wonder if this "commercial" is specifically shown at the Star Wars movie.
If so, probably for the best exposure.. but also the movie title: "The Force Awakens", maybe because it fits with whatever GNR are planning.

Hmmm. Exciting time it sure is these days. Lots of speculations and wishes. Wonder how much management and Axl himself is involved in these teasers. I actually get the same feeling I got back in 2002 when Jimmy Fallon came with all those hints before gnr hit the stage. Hoping for an exciting 2016. I'm seeing Star Wars in the US (Boston Area) tomorrow, so I'll update if I see it. A friend of mine saw the movie today and didn't see it, but he didn't see all of the trailers... Based on the description of being 'pre trailer' that could mean it is only in certain theaters (like AMC, Lowes, etc...).

I gotta tell you, if this is all part of a bigger plan than the management did an amazing job. Starting from the interview in which slash casually refers being OK with Axl, the internet going crazy, all the silence and now this. They got massive promotion and sparked interest with very little money spent.  |

it looks like the band is finally getting the promotion they deserve to go along with an announcement. the usage of wttj makes me think 2 things. first off is reunion. second is that maybe they chose it just because it is so recognizable as a guns song. what is this gonna be? it could even be that old uyi footage for all we know. it could be anything! whatever it is, this is awesome.
