I believe the following are absolute imperatives -

Each and every song must be a "big gun."? There is no luxury in having just "good" songs (let alone fillers), nor is there the option of allowing for some good songs on Chinese Democracy in order to hold in reserve better ones for future albums.? Even if there are enough "big guns" to fill more than one record, there must be a prioritization by selecting the top 13 songs for the first one.? Furthermore, quality trumps quantity in this case.? Better to have 13 classics stand by themselves than 13 classics plus 3 or 4 alright ones.? Lastly, the track order on the album is also of great importance.? Speaking as a whole, the songs must compliment each other in order for the album itself to be a classic.

That's my 2 cents...

i agree with the trackorder, that is imperative!!!as for the songs, im not sure ALL of them will be great, some will be ok some will be good, but to axl they will must all be great!!
