Terminator 4 Salvation: The Future Begins

I agree that it had some good action scenes, but I also agree with norway. The John Connor character in that movie just had something wrong with it, I dont think it was the actor so much as it was the writers and script behind it.

Damn, I hated T3. The gynoid sucked and I don't know... it was just weird. Like somebody said, too many scenes in the daylight. Anyway, T4 seems to be shaping up well, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Terminator 3 was like The Godfather 3 in that they were good movies, but added absolutely nothing to the overall narrative?it?s as though they were tacked on.

T4 though?it actually looks really cool. The whole ?going back in time to stop Sarah/John Conner from being killed? got kind of old and it will be great to see the world of the future where Cyborgs rule the world.

Hoping that chick from my so-called life isn?t in it though?

Nah she won't be in it neither actor that played john or kate will be in this one.

I was reading an article, can't remember where, that stated McG said at comic con that terminator 4 could be an r-rated film despite him initially saying they were going for pg-13. Thought some of you people complaining about a pg-13 rating would like that. Though I still think if it gets an R it would be heavily edited ala Die Hard 4 to get a pg-13 rating. Than an unrated dvd. But anything is possible.

He basically said that there were two people that wanted, or at least were pressing for, pg-13. But other than that, he's got the freedom to make the film that he wants. If it's pg-13, then it's pg-13. If it's not... Well, then it's not.

Still trying to figure out why Bale would do this given that McG is the director. It's gotta be a cash grab from Bale. He's not getting paid anywhere near as much as he deserves for the Batman movies because they aren't huge box office smashes.

From the way I understand it is that the show is it's own separate thing  from the films really.
