Gordon Pinsent (Newfoundland actor from The Shipping News and a lot of other things) is a cousin of my mother.  I met like 14 players from the 1997-1998 Montreal Canadiens.  At the time, Dainius Zubrus had just been traded to the Canadiens, and some guy in a pizza place at the mall in Montreal mistook me for him and gave me free food!  I went to a high school function with 2005 Canadian Idol runner up, Rex Goudie and jammed some tunes with him on the guitar at the university residence.  Oh, and I peed in a night club with 2004 Canadian Idol 4th place finisher, Jason Greeley.  My father made international headlines in 1992 when trying to stop American oil from being refined in Newfoundland.  Haha, it's pretty funny.  I need to get myself out of the spotlight.

My dad is an antiques dealer, and has met shit loads of famous people. And got totally fucked over by Marco Pierre White (the chef). Dad was selling a really nice old antique piano worth several thousands, and Marco wanted it, and it got moved to his restaurant. THEN he decided he DIDN'T want it, and didn't pay for it, but while it was still in the restaurant, my dad was walkin' past it, looked in the window, saw a bunch of people sitting around the piano, discussing what to do with it, and they were playing it, and one guy had a glass of COLD WATER ON THE PIANO WITH NO COASTER!! That is obviously gunna leave a ring mark on the top of the piano.

And he'd said to my dad that he didn't want it!!! And he hadn't paid for it!
So my dad had a huge bust-up with him about it, and now my dad's suing him.
