Indian Summer by The Doors. Short and simple, nothing overblown. Very nice.
Sabbra Cadabra by Black Sabbath (I guess this counts as a romantic song. It's not a ballad as such, but the lyrics are "romantic"...)
Hello It's Me by Todd Rundgren
When It Rains by Paramore
Wonderwall by Oasis
Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones
and I guess November Rain as well

If you don't hate Prince of course - I'd rather eat pig shit than listen to Prince.
My favorite right now is She's a Rainbow

I don't really consider this song romantic, it's more like yearning for a love from someone that isn't there.

Exactly. It's about the loss of true love. I still see it as Edward Cullen's theme song from the TWILIGHT series, and that he and his true love will be together. William Shakespeare put it best, THE ROAD TO TRUE LOVE NEVER DID RUN SMOOTHE!

This I understand. But he really pours his heart out and it's really beautiful musically. It's tragically romantic.

Yeah, i don't think This I Love is "Romantic" its more of a sad unrequited love song.
Romantic for me, is a song about being in love, like "Let's Get it On" by Marvin Gaye or something like that. Something that really celebrates being in love etc.
Not depressing love lost songs.

Jon wrote Always for this movie about a stalker, so that song is suppose to be creepy, bed of roses and Ill be there for you are romantic... I always saw Ill Be There For You as more of a you got dumped kinda deal and u are begging for another chance song.
Romantic to me is like love making music, shit u listen to when u are deeply in love, not sad, not depressed, not unrequited love, but just something that expresses that awesome emotion when u first fall in love with someone.
Adore by Prince is THAT song.
