And this is my question for Axl:

Quite simply, how are you? Always hope the best for you, and I hope things are going well for you on a personal level.

My questions would be:

Have you ever considered making a "piano album" with jazz, blues etc?

How did you come up with the "Chinese Democracy" title/ artwork?

Read other people's questions before asking your own. You might risk repeating one that's been done already  Tongue I guess we can have joint writing credits on the question sheet.

Ask him what in the hell does Chris Pittman do? Just joking!  Tongue

I know people are going to say don't ask him this, but we need to ask him what's going on with or an update on CD. If this is an once in a lifetime chance to ask the man some questions, at leats one them need to be about the new album. I can already guess the reaction of "leave Axl alone, he'll tell us when there's something to talk about" or "just live you're life". For anyone about to say that I say get fucking real. We come to this site wanting info on the damn CD and get nothing but rumors. This is a chance for Axl to clear the air so to speak.

Ask him, what is his  favorite track from Chinese Democracy?

and

Tell him we love him and the world is ready for his music again.  More like the world needs his music.  I like the question about his comments on modern music, that's a good one.

If there are any questions on CD, Buckethead, ex-members etc... then we are likely to fall at the first hurdle

As I said, they have to be questions that Axl would want to answer. We can maybe put in a question at the end offering him the chance of talking about the new album

Heh, fair enough. Anyone else want to jump on the bandwagon? The more we talk about it, the more likely Mysteron is to notice it, and to ask if it can be sent to Axl...if this thing does actually go ahead.

Here are some ideas:

Why should your fans be excited about the new band and music that is going to be released? (OK a little aggressive but nonetheless a worthwile question)

What type of style are you trying to create with the new band and music? What influences have you drawn from and how diffiuclt is it to be original and creative?

When touring, which countries do you prefer to play and why? If you had to live outside the States, where would you choose?

I would like to ask him some questions too, of course he doesn't want to read anything about the CD...hmm..

- What was your favorite musical experience in the past ten years (pick a concert you did or went to, an album you bought and were thrilled to listen to, etc.) -- you can pick more than one if picking just one is too difficult

- On the 2002 Euro/ Asia tour, did you have time to visit the places you've gone to and what were your impressions of Japan, Hong Kong, Belgium, etc.? Have they changed a lot in ten years? Did you enjoy your coca cola without ice cubes in Europe? Grin

- What's the thing you enjoy the most doing during the day?

- Have you overcome your "inadequacy with modern machinery"? Wink

I'll post more if I think of more questions.
That's a cool idea! ok Rock on Axl!! beer

Of all contemporary singers, rock, pop, even country, who is the one you'd like to duet with?

What's the worst hit song you've heard in the last ten years?

What are your thoughts on having Arnold Schwarzenegger as your governor?

If there was one famous quotation that you felt closely summed up your philosophy of life, what would it be?

Who's your favorite comedian?  (Eddie Izzard is the best answer to this one, of course.)
Cake or death? ok

I'm not trying to start an argument or be an ass, but why is CD or seemingly anything GNR related off limits? Don't take this the wrong way, but I've never seen someone so scared to talk about something they have been working for so long. I would like to think he is excited and proud of what he has recorded and wants to share it with everyone. I can kinda see him not wanting to talk about Buckethead and fully understand not talking about ex-members (Duff & Slash lawsuit). Being so secretive about CD, while it's nothing new or shocking at this point, does not add up.

Either way, this is still a cool idea and mysteron should have the final say of all questions. He would know better than any of us what would more likely get answered.

I agree with the question posted earlier about asking him what he thinks of modern music.

First of all, I think we should all give credit to RnT. Good idea dude!! yes

Also, thanx Mysteron for make it happening ( well, hopefully)

My questions....

Axl,

How much wood could a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck wood?...joking  Wink

What process do you follow when you write a song? Do you come up with the melody first, or is it the lyrics, what instrument is the first one you go to when you have the melody or lyrics? Is it piano?

Have you been taking guitar lessons? How's that coming along?

Do you usually travel abroad when you are not touring?

What is your favorite city/country? ( I believe I once read it was Paris..am I correct?)

and favorite crowd?

-Chinasky, Marbella ( Spain)
