« on: January 22, 2007, 04:24:31 PM »

Been over at the NAMM show in California with work for the past week.

Had the day off last Wednesday and went to Hollywood and Sunset etc.? Was able to walk around the Whisky A Go Go and get my pic taken on stage which was cool.? Went down to see Slash's induction the rock walk of fame which was great.? Said hi to Matt Sorum but only managed a quick gesture to Slash.

Show ran from Thursday til Sunday.? And I got to meet and chat to:

Nikki Sixx
Dave Mustaine
Bono
Taylor Hawkins
Vinnie Paul
Buckethead
Kerri King
John 5
Slunt

and shit loads of others.

Then on Saturday I had to attend a show at the Key Club on Sunset for Ibanez's 20th anniversary.? Saw Paul Gilbert (who was amazing) and then a bit of Steve Vai & Joe Satriani, but they got boring as hell so we headed down to the Cat Club for 'Hookers & Blow'.? Hung out with Dizzy and drank a few Jaegers but had to leave to catch our bus before they played!.? Then we got back to Anaheim and went into the Coffin Cases Dimebag tribute night, where unfortunately we had missed the all-star band which featured Lemmy, Vinnie Paul, members of Slipknot and others, but were just in time to see the surprise Foo Fighters show!!!!? Fuckin awesomeness and Dave Grohl is a gentleman.

Yeah, my mistake!  BH was the only one I didn't actually talk to.  Just said hi and introduced myself etc - to which he just offered me a handshake but didn't say a word.

To be honest I can't really remember..... just general small talk about NAMM and other random stuff.? It was very brief.
