River (From "River")
by Izzy Stradlin
Standard E Tuning

D            A
Aaaahhh            Haaah
G            D
Aaaahhh            Haaah
   D            A
Lord it flowed like a river   Then it all went to the sea
       G               D
And as I came rollin' back   I saw what I'd had in a dream
   D               A
And the wind started howlin'   And a singin' through the trees
       G                D
And as fast as it had started   It had come back to a breeze

A      G          D
It all comes   Right back you see
A      G        D
When it does   Then it will be

     D                    A
Life flows like a river      Then we all end up at sea
         G                   D
When the tide comes rollin' in   Then your life comes up to be seen
   D                                   A
Be sure that you remember   Not to forget where you've been
   G                D
As long as you've had good times You can sure remember this

A      G              D
It all comes   Right back you see
A      G            D
When it does   Then it will be
A      G             D
It all seems   Too short for me
A      G             D
When it's done   Then it shall be

Solo    (Same as verse)

   D                                A
Yah you roll like a river   Then you end up in the sea
   G                D
And you run 'til night is black   And keep on goin' in your dreams
        D             A
And you know all the long while   It's the journey that you seek
         G              D
It's the miles of movin' forward With the wind beneath your wings

(Strumming in "D")

Yes it all comes back you see

Yes it all comes back you see

Yes it all comes back you see

It all comes on back you see

Yeah, pretty much actually.

Chords a little in wrong place, but who's complain'!

Doesn't have solo, but much appreciated. Solo's not all that hard anyway...

Oops... sorry? Embarrassed? ?I didn't think to check to see if it lined up properly when I copied & pasted it.? Embarrassed
If you click on that "Source" link, you'll see how it was supposed to look.

Sorry, again.? Tongue? ?I don't read music or tabs, so when it said "Solo (Same as verse)", I just figured that it was the same as something else there.? Huh
