Post by: ZombieGoldenToa on October 11, 2005, 04:04:18 PM
Any one have Beautiful Disease and would mind uploading the songs off of it? The only song I could find was Seattle Head (which is pretty awesome!). Or recommend a site that has songs avaliable (sp?). Please and thank you.

How could that be official when only limited edition was released of which only few made it to Europe?
Duff released that one by himself cause the album was dropped by his label, if I am not wrong,  just like Smashing Pumpkins released MACHINA II on their own and MACHINA II is also being labeled as BOOTLEG!?
Actually,  I am on the look out for Beautiful disease too.
If anyone is interested,   I could trade it for

Snakepit - ALG (have both the original version + the asian with bonus tracks)
Duff - Belive in me
GNR - Live Era (both normal + asian release)
Gilby - Hangover,  99 LIVE,  Pawn shop,  Swag
Izzy - River

or if interested,  drop me a line and we can exchange it for some of numerous complete GNR 86 - 93 bootlegs I have.

Duff had to re-record it and release it under a different title, which proves that the material was copyrighted and belonged to the record label. Therefore it can be considered official.

OK for that part, though, ot changes nothing in the subject that I (and a whole load of other people too), want it...
It can be purchased in a store but only reburned by someone who has it in some sort of way (wheather official silver cd or not,  not important as long as it's not mp3),  so we can definatelly consider it as - bootleg.
BTW,  the fact that Duff had to rerelease it as you say and the fact it has never seen the light of the day by a label makes it a boot too.
Namely,  Duff had to change the name for some legal or other issue,  but the cd was pushed off for ages before it was finally dropped due to a fact that Geffen now owned by Sanctuary, orientated more to rap music.
Either way,  don't care as long as I get it :)
