Read one of the other books in the series.  They're not bad.

I read the Replacements book by 33 1/3 and it was a great read.

For those who don't know about the 33 1/3 series of books I'll try sum it up. The company picks a random person and asks them what there favourite album is.... ever. The person chooses and writes there own biography explaining why the album is there favourite alongside it. Sounds shit I know but it really isn't.

The Replacements one is a great read. The guy recalls being only 10 years old and finding the Replacements album in a second hand store. He then describes loads of haunting childhood memories of being alone and says how he would never have survived childhood without this album.

I expect the Use Your Illusion one would be just as good to read, though it obviously depends on who wrote this particular one.

I read it a while back.

I was sort of expecting some kind of information about the actual album or its making, as far as I remember, instead there's a description of what was going on in music at the time.....

I've read the book and it's ok.? It's nothing spectacular.? I disagreed with some of it.
