no way,  KROQ has other events called the Weenie Roast and the Almost Acoustic Christmas.  Tix were only 65 for both.

I recall that Axl announced to the folks at the Great Western Forum show in '91 that he finally completed the album.  Hopefully, maybe, he announces the good news again in front of a Los Angeles area crowd.

You don't recall nothing. Noobs like you were barely 3 when Axl announced this. Go back to high school baby.

^ For college?

And a tailgate sounds good, considering there's nothing to do in that area.

I'm actually done with college this summer.   Trying to move out there and find some work.  Anyway, we all definetly have to meet up.  Some time early Sept.  we should form a more concrete plan.

have you ever bought tickets for those shows, with the fees they are at least 90 dollars, and thats if you get lucky and dont have to buy them on ebay

yes i have.
and if you go to a ticketmaster location there are no fees.which means its about 120-130 for two. (which is usually the limit). and with fees online its usually 150 ish depending on how you order them.

Does anybody know what other bands are gonna be playing?

I think these Inland Invasion shows usually have some sort of theme.  One year they had all punk bands (new and old), another year it was like some 80's revival (meaning The Cure and bands like that) and last year I think had a 90's theme.

GNR doesn't really fit into any scene or movement though, they kind of transcended it all.

No, but the tickets might be VERY expensive, if you want an actual seat.  Sad

Nope. I've been checking KROQ's website and this website everyday since the show was announced.
Anxiously waiting too!
