Okay.....don't laugh everyone....

I was 15, a sophmore in High school and my first concert was...

Duran Duran.  I saw them in Lakeland, Florida. [peace]

I used to be a big Duranie....I still know all the lyrics to their songs and can sing along [hihi]

Thank god for GNR.  Axl brought me over to the real world of Rock and Roll [peace]

I was 16, it was August 16th and the year was 1991.

The place Stockholm, Sweden, the venue a sold out Globe Arena and the band Guns N' Fuckin' Roses.

That show was magical. Smiley

It also gave me the idea when it was time to name the little GN'R home page I started working on in 1996. The name is written on the back of the t-shirt I got at the show.

Here Today... Gone To  Hell!
GNFNRS!

 Hi,
I was 15 and was going to the State Theatre in Detroit, Michigan to see Nine Inch Nails on the "Downward Spiral" tour. Fucking great show, it was only a 5000 seat venue!
Also, some guy named Marilyn Manson who actually looked normal opened up for them. I thought he was awesome and his cd came out like a year later. Unfortunately his career went downhill since.

My first was wen i was 15 at reading festival 2001 in the UK!
I went last year aswell and intend on going every year untill im too old.
for those of you who dont know Reading festival is one of the biggest summer festivals in the UK, it has the same lineup as Leeds festival but Reading is closer to where I live.

The thing that sux is the fact that G'n'R headlined at Leeds but not at Reading!!! [rant]

Age 15, Judas Priest, Defenders of the Faith tour. We had had great seats and at one point in the concert Rob Halford was pointing straight at me. It wasn't until many years later that I discovered that maybe that wasn't such a cool thing after all. Tongue [hihi]

My first concert was in 1999, so I guess I was 14.... I went to see Our Lady Peace at the Air Canada Centre, they used to be my favourite band.  I thought it was a good show at the time since I had never seen another live performance.   However a month later I went to see KISS at the very same venue with terrible seats.... and they FUCKIN BLEW THAT SHOW AWAY.

First I ever saw was OLP
First that made a REAL impact was KISS

Ok ... time for you to laugh at me again. After I told you 'bout my first CD, here's my first concert: David Hasselhoff in Cologne when I was 6 or 7 years old.  [confused]

Well, he WAS popular. You can ask everyone here who is between 18 and 25 years old about what he heard when he was a child (Hasselhoff) and what his favourite tv series was (Knight Rider). It's pretty funny.
