My first show was suppose to be Cheap Trick when I was 15, but my parents took my tickets because some guys joined me and my friends when we were sleeping outside the night before.  Shocked

Ironiclly, it was the 1st show that my son saw at 3 mos old many years later.

Well, he WAS popular. You can ask everyone here who is between 18 and 25 years old about what he heard when he was a child (Hasselhoff) and what his favourite tv series was (Knight Rider). It's pretty funny.

Philadelphia Spectrum, 1986, i was 11, Genesis (ouch! it hurts to even say it). I went with my parents and sister. It was so boring that I fell asleep (literally).

2nd was bruce in '87, which was awful. i'm sure he's typically good in concert, but i hated the tunnel of love album and he did mostly stuff from that. he even did a slow version of "born to run"

so i was 0 for 2, but then i saw gnr open for aerosmith in '88, and i've been addicted to live music ever since.

1st ever? Elton John, Wembley arena, 1989 (aged 6). Can't remember a bloody thing about it  -not even the daft outfit Dame reg was no doubt wearing.

First that I went to on my own accord? GnR/Weezer London Arena, 2002 (aged 19). It were quite good, were that.

1987 i was 14 , Def Leppard in the round, fucking amazing show, I was blown away , i can honestly say that concert opened up the world of rock to me, two months later GnR and Aerosmith , i wanted Guns to play all night, they kicked Aerosmith's ass IMHO, those were the days man.

Okay.....don't laugh everyone....

I was 15, a sophmore in High school and my first concert was...

Duran Duran.  I saw them in Lakeland, Florida.

I used to be a big Duranie....I still know all the lyrics to their songs and can sing along

Thank god for GNR.  Axl brought me over to the real world of Rock and Roll

That's funny, my first concert was in Lakeland too! I think it was the civic center? About 35 minutes from PC...

I was 15 and saw David Lee Roth. Tesla opened for him. Believe it or not the arena was sold out. I had a blast.

Nothing wrong with Duran Duran , they aren't rock but they had some pretty good songs, check out Neurotic Outsiders cover of Planet Earth   ok

My first concert was Chicago.  I was six years old.  All I remember about it, is that it took place at a music festival, and a woman standing in front of my family, held me up so I could see the band.
