Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but could someone PLEASE give me a hand burning this amazing show to dvd?

I have downloaded from Dime and have received the two seperate files, 'DVD1 and DVD2'.

I have burnt dvds before using nero so I'm assuming that I am doing something wrong with the downloaded files.

In another thread Blackrose stated:

"To burn with nero burning rom select DVD-VIDEO when making a new compilation then place all the .ifo .bup and .vob files into the "VIDEO_TS" folder already created by nero. Than you should be right to burn. I recommend burning at 4x speed to ensure playback on most stand alone players.

You do not need to do anything to the files before burning. "

I have put all the files in DVD1 into nero when prompted to 'add videofiles'. My pc takes about 2 1/2 hours to transcode
etc, but then fails and nothing is burnt to the disc!

I am puzzled by Blackrose's comment that I should place all the downloaded files into the "VIDEO_TS" folder already created by Nero. I cannot see this and have simply been adding all of the files from dvd1 into nero.

Is this where I am going wrong?

Please help!!  peace

What nero are you using?

Are you putting the files into nero-vision express? if so thats why it is trying to transcode. Nero-vision express is for authoring DVD's and video.

I use Nero 6 ultra edition, and burn DVD-Video using the Nero burning rom application. Nero express should also work no probs as patcooper noted. ok

I am sure others have their preffered burning software, but Nero has worked perfect for me!

I use Nero too, and the discs are playable, but I can't get the menu that goes along with it to work. Works fine when I just play the downloaded files on the pc, but I can't get that on the dvd. Just the stupid files in ugly folders without chapters.

Any tips?

Use CopyToDVD. Choose DVD Video and just drag and drop all the files for each DVD in the VIDEO_TS folder (.VOB, .BUP, etc.)
