..open shows with???

I'll go with "Slither" for obvious reasons.

Current single, atmospheric intro etc...

Thoughts?

Yup...that, or "Set Me Free".

Its crazy...in less than 3 weeks, we should be seeing/hearing live bootlegs of new material by Velvet Revolver.  Its very exciting.  Although I am trying to temper my enthusiasm, because Im afraid something could wrong at any minute.  Three weeks is still plenty of time for Weiland to get into trouble.  I really hope he makes this. yes

Couldn't agree more.

Weiland's situation basically made my decision a no brainer to make the trip to KC early on during the tour instead of waiting for a possible date in Dallas later on.  I'm still extremely skeptical
about him getting to St. Louis for the opening date, let alone through the tour until it's completion.

Back on topic:  "Set Me Free" was my other guess as well, considering the recognizability factor and general pace of the song.

Either song will make a fine opening number.
