I am sick of washed up 80's bands doing tributes to Guns N Roses....I want to see some newer artists doing there own takes on some GNR songs..or at the very least some GOOD 80's bands...I want to hear Black Label Society, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, Korn etc. do their tributes to GNR...what is the point of some washed up 80's act like Quiet Riot doing a half assed version of Jungle???

So you would rather listen to "metal" bands like Avenged Sevenfold or Trivium massacre GNR songs? If you consider Quiet Riot a washed up 80s act, why are you on this forum? Wouldn't that be Guns N' Roses too? Or are you so fucking cool that you have to jump on every lameass numetal/hardcore trend that comes around? I'm looking forward to this, it should be a good CD, Altaria's good band. Listen to the "Divinity" CD.

did you ask me why am i on a GNR message board because I called Quiet Riot a washed up 80's band?? Why are YOU on this board if you compare GNR to any of those bands..GNR are on the level of the Stones, Aerosmith and Zeppelin...not RATT, Twisted Sister or any of that other shit.... and yes Quiet Riot is washed up...they were washed up the second Randy Rhoads left...Kevin Dubrow is a fuckin joke... I thought it would be cool to hear newer bands change up the songs and give us new covers...not washed up 80's fucks like Traci Guns (lol) covering the songs note for note...you obviously never bought any of the tributes...oh yeah and i guess Zakk Wylde and BLS are not real "metal" in your mind......I am still pissed you asked me why I am here because I hate Quiet Riot...are you high?  Did you even go to any of the GNR shows this year? probably not....

LONG TIME LURKER .....FIRST TIME POSTER
I grew up listening to these bands, I never knew Randy Rhoads had been in Quiet Riot.  Seen them in concert mid to late 80's...must of been post-Randy.  Seen GNR open for Aerosmith late 80's and again on the Illusion tour......awesome time in Rock n Roll peace
