Anyone who expected the website to launch at midnight was fooling themselves.

If it were to launch at midnight it would be 3AM eastern time and midnight western time, but even that is doubtful.

Chances are it'll be sometime during the wee-hours of the morning, so it's there for us when we wake up, or some time tomorrow afternoon so people who come home from work / school and read the press release can visit the site.

The press release isn't even suppose to be released until friday, it was just leaked early (like most press releases). ?If it wasn't leaked we wouldn't be reading this until tomorrow anyway.

All we need is just a little patience.

Gunsnroses.com is the real address Gonzo.  The Artistdirect thing has come up on that site for years now.  When the site is launched the real site will replace it.

Folks, you're getting this mixed up. I think someone said in the other thread that this press release is going to be released to the public TOMORROW, the 29th. That means the website will go up on the 30th. The press release we've all been lucky enough to read has only been sent to GNR forum administrators. It's an early heads-up for all of the hardcore fans like us. The general public will receive the PR tomorrow and we'll all get the website on the 30th. Just my 2 cents, but y'all got this mixed up.

Yep, from what I could tell, the press release never uses the phrase "September 29th." It only uses the word "tomorrow" when talking about the website. That means that tomorrow from the actual press release is Saturday.
