I've got the 30 W version of that amp (G30R CD) only without the effects and I'm really really happy with it, it gives me the Izzy Stradlin' sound that I like but also in general it's an amp that is very versatile where you can get a lot of different sounds out of it and it's a pretty solid amp

Also, if you go to google.com and type in Marshall reviews then a site will appear that has a lot of user reviews of virtually every kind of Marshall amp

I'd spend a few bucks more and get the Vox AD15VT. It's better amp if you need something with diverse tones for practice. I wouldn't get any Marshall without a tube power section for playing with a band. You need to get some glass cooking if you want authentic rock tones.
