I have tried like hell to get into LZ and I just can't. I am more of a Pink floyd guy i guess.

thats true..and its arguable that Kurt Cobain is a bigger legend than he is depending on who you ask...  The point was technical skill doesn't always equal greatness...Paul Gilbert for instance is 10 times the player Page ever was and he played for MR BIG!!!  So Jack Bruce talking about how much better Clapton is than Page on a technical level  doesnt really mean anything..
