This is part of an interview with Jordan Zadorozny of Blinker the Star. He talks a little about Chris Pittman's involvement with Axl and GN'R.

Firesideometer: It seems like you established a lot of good connections in L.A. though. Brad Laner(Medicine), Chris Pittman (Replicants), Paul D?amour (ex-tool bassist), and of course Ken Andrews (Failure, On, Year of the Rabbit). Do you still keep in contact with these people?

Jordon: Yeah, I keep in contact with all of them, Paul more than any of them. They?re all having babies now except for Ken. Paul called me the other day and said, ?One slipped past the goalie!? Yeah, all those guys have been inspirations to me. Plus, Matt Mathey from Self and John Fields who's a producer. Specifically, that kind of crew, they were my original crew when I moved out there.

Firesideometer: We?re big fans of Lusk (Chris Pittman and Paul D?Amour).

Jordon: Pittman is my all time hero! He?s my idol.

Firesideometer: Is he playing with Guns and Roses still?

Jordon: Yeah! I saw them play last January.

Firesideometer: What does he do for Guns and Roses?

Jordon: He plays keyboards that aren?t even plugged in on the road. His relationship with Axl is more important. He writes with Axl. You only trust so many people if you?re Axl.

Not even plugged up? I hope he was joking, because without Pittman, 'The Blues' and 'Madagascar' wouldn't be nearly as good. I'm not saying the guy is a musical genius, but he plays very important parts in those songs.

Of all the GnR jokes (and there are loads of 'em), this is probably the only one that isn't funny at all. I wish people would stop referencing My Favorite Pillow. Sure, it was funny the first 10-15 times, but enoughs enough! I'd rather hear people bashing the band than hear another MFP reference joke.
