25.07.2007 - Key Club Update from Izzy
A number of fans have asked for confirmation regarding whether Izzy will be present at the Key Club for the rumored "GNR Reunion". Izzy emailed us this today: "....Steven is playing Key Club this Saturday.... I may drop by and say hello. Cheers, Izzy".

24.07.2007 - "MIAMI REMIXED"
Izzy Stradlin dropped in with a cool update today...

"JT Longoria and I have just remixed 10 tracks of the "Miami" recordings and its much louder and more powerful sounding now. It was done in Dallas at Nomad Studios. Gary long did the mastering. Big thanks to those guys. It has just gone live on I-Tunes today. You will hear the difference...... Cheers! Izzy".

The only song not to be remixed was FSO Ragga. Check out the remixed version of "Miami" on iTunes today...

I might grab the remix - but it'd be even better if we showed our e-mail receipt from the original if we could get the remixed version for free!  ok

Real disappointed with Izzy here. Why should I have to pay again for versions of these songs he says are better when he JUST released the other versions?

I know how you all feel but i bite the bullet and bought it again and it is worth it, trust me. It's louder, better quality, better mix and better all round. A great little album from Izzy

I've been real tempted to get the 2nd version but haven't yet. How different is the mix? Is it just Louder guitars? I didn't think the quality was bad on the initial release. Also I noticed it doesn't say explicit next to it, is it censored?

It is louder...cleaner...you can actually hear the piano work.  The track listing is different as well...same songs, just different order.

Quite upset we should be expected to pay ANOTHER ?8 for this.  I bought this album on its first day, and it was good but the mix was clearly too soft.  Now, I have to pay MORE money to get it as it should have been released?  Something oughta be done...

It is BA.  It sounds so much better.  And when you think that if you were to buy an album at a store it would have cost you $20 roughly anyway...
