I've got this DI jack on the back of my marhsall, do I just plug a chord from the DI jack into my Digital 8-Track? Or will it fry it?

You'll be fine.  I personally don't like direct input.  Try and experiment around with different mic-placement techniques, you might find a better tone to your recordings. ok

Not really pictures, just techniques.  www.harmonycentral.com is the best site for musicians.  Surf around on that wesite and you'll find some good articles to get you going.  Good Luck! ok
