When I go to Jet games there, with my family we usually get there real early for 1pm games bought 10am, and trust me there is someone there to collect your money to park.

Yea I would advise everyone to bring their 12 dollars for the lot.  I think they may even charge more for games, so getting there too early might actually even result in a higher fee-

I found this on the Meadowlands site-

PARKING AT GIANTS STADIUM
Giants, Jets, Concerts & International Soccer - $15
Red Bulls - $10
Charter Buses, Limos, RVs - $20

Mind you this is for Giants Stadium, I am only trying to point out that getting there too early might cost you more since they will charge you the game rate-

Also on tailgating their policy:

TAILGATING - IMPORTANT TAILGATING INFORMATION

Tailgating has become a ritual at Giants Stadium and is permitted provided guests tailgate behind their vehicle or in one of the designated tailgate areas. Additional parking spaces are not to be utilized for tailgating under any circumstances.

Tailgate Courtesy Squads will patrol the lots to ensure that the "one car, one space" policy is followed. Guests who take over additional parking spaces to tailgate will be asked to clear out of those spaces. Failure to comply may result in fines, towing or other punitive actions. Please be courteous to your fellow fans -- open parking spaces are not to be used for tailgating.

Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in any area where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited. Please do not discard hot coals near vehicles or in plastic waste receptacles.

Open fires are not permitted.

Trash receptacles are located throughout the Sports Complex parking lots and near the Stadium entrances. Please bag and dispose of your trash to make it safer for vehicles exiting the Sports Complex after the game.

ARAMARK is the official food service provider/caterer for The Meadowlands Sports Complex. To schedule a catered event, please contact ARAMARK at (201) 935-5660. Contracted and outside caterers are not permitted on Sports Complex property.

Ball playing and frisbee tossing in the Stadium parking lots and roadways are safety hazards and are not permitted. Many injuries occur as a result of these activities.

Man I wish GNR and the Bears/Jets game was on the same day.  That would have been an awesome combo.  You going to the Jets/Bears?

^^^Please don't shoot the messenger.  I was just passing on info. I got from the lady on the other end of the phone at the Meadowlands.  Of course you should bring money for parking!

Not being able to toss around a football, that's unfortunate, oh well!  I guess some folks take it too far.

At least we'll be able to drink and listen to some tunes.   beer

Also, 10 day forecast has the Nov. 5th high temp. being 50 degrees, low of 43, partly sunny.  A nice crisp autumn day.   Smiley

Hey Everyone,

I have up to 3 tix available for this show in the 200 section.  They are available for $70 each (below face after all the TM fees).  Let me know if anyone is interested.

PM me if interested.

The tickets I have I believe are in section 231 or 232.  I am willing to part with them for $50 now.  We paid about $72 each I think.  Please help a fellow GNR fan out.  If you just want to go then these tickets are the same price as the 'cheap seats'.

PM me if interested.

Can someone please include in the list of board members attending this show?

Also, I have never been to the CA arena in NJ, therefore do not know how the parking situation is there.. and how can I meet and hang with other board members attending the show?

I have GA tickets  Row 1 seat 283, but I assume that there are no reserved spots in GA therefore it will a race to get good spots when the doors open right?

By the way, I am from Venezuela (South America) and here in the U.S on vacactions, right now in NYC.

See you guys there and appreciate your help.

The GA is split in 2 so check your tickets to see if you are in the front or the back.  See the map on the right on the above page-

As for meeting up I don't think we have anything definite planned yet besides being in the parking area-

Thanks Bandita..

I just checked my ticket and it says Back GA Floor , so I guess iam in the back and not the front VIP section which kind of sucks now that I think of it.  WHen I purchased the ticket from Ticketmaster it didnt specify whether it was VIP GA or back of GA,.

Is there anyway to upgrade my ticket for the front GA?  I would really like to be in that section, as Iam traveling from too far to see this.

Thanks

No, the VIP is entirely sold out.? I got TM to give me a refund because they didn't tell me mine were back GA when I placed the order (took me an hour of yelling on the phone) and I bought 2 VIPs for face off of Ebay.

SO probably it wont be too easy to get a refund  from TM and then find another ticket on the VIP section through ebay or something else..huh.

Is there a significant difference between the two sections VIP and back, besides the fact that the VIP is closer to the stage?   Also, is the back section too far back.. I mean so far back that I wont be able to see anything??

Honestly I wouldn't worry.  You will have a good time no matter what.  It looks to be split right down the middle of the arena.  I basically just called to confirm what I already knew and the guy just got sick of listening to me after an hour so he offered me the refund.  I am only 5 ft. 2 so I didn't want to be in the back.

My point was that they didn't notify anyone until after the tickets were received and I find that to be a bit screwy.  But according to TM it was at the promoter's request (Live Nation).
