Axl needs to bust out the Paris '92 beard and he and Ron should challenge ZZ Top to a beard off like in "Whisker Wars" on IFC.

Bring this tour to North America please.

I mean I'd love new music but I actually enjoy ZZ Top's new song (the "I got to get paid" one) and a few of their older tracks... and I'm not a classic rock guy.

I don't think our guys stand a chance.  hihi  Wonder if they still have those beards from Robin's birthday party still in the tour gear.

No Adelaide gig Sad

Excuse my whingeing but ZZ Top?? Are you serious?

Sad they don't get a younger more relevant band cos a lot of kids that may have considered seeing GNR will think ahh this is just some golden oldies gig. Shame.

Good to see the guys back in Australia though. I have raved about the last gig to my new GF and she has been a little skeptical as she views GNR as a band that haven't really done anything for 20 years and past prime. I would have loved to have taken her to a gig in Adelaide with a more relevant support. Oh well looks like a trip to Melbourne.....great city.

It's quite normal to announce first and then there's a starting day for tickets peace

You'll  be there, don't worry. Still a very good chance that I'll be in the region too. I won't know it until later but hope dies last.

Home of the might Newcastle Knights!

Can't believe my favourite band is playing at the home ground of my favourite footy team.

ZZ Top puts on an AWESOME live show. I'd of loved for them to open in Vegas instead of all the bands that did.

ZZ Top will be KILLER with GUNS!!!! People seem to forget that long before songs like Legs or Sharp Dressed Man and the other MTV hits they had some seriously amazing smokin' blues rock albums. Tres Hombres or Deguello is a great place to start and it's before the commercial synth period. Billy Gibbons knows tone!!
