the old GnR did some great covers. what would u want the new GnR to cover? i think a heavy vesion of the beatles - yesterday with a guitar solo would be great, it'd be a bit like knockin on heavens door. jimi hendrix - foxy lady and ac/dc - TNT or highway to hell would be good to cover.

"Cars" by Gary Numan. This song is probably the greatest one hit wonder from the 80's. Definitely ahead of its time. Its also a short song, so it wouldn't take up much space on CD.
