You would think if the title is still to be Chinese Democracy, the title track would be on the album.  But who knows, didn't Axl say a few years back that CD would in fact have a bonus disc?

I think the last press release where it all but stated these songs will be on CD, pretty much nullifies that theory

I agree. Axl mentioned 13 songs being on the album. No mention of bonus discs. You have to go on what he said recently. Anything he said once 4 years ago is like you said, null and void.

Dont forget that Led Zeppelin released an album then released the title track of that album on their next CD.

WTF.

I wonder how many songs GnR has recorded though that wont make the cut (like any of the albums).

Eddie Trunk was asking about how many song they have done as potentials for CD but Axl didnt want to talk about it.

WTF.

As did Queen (well a couple of albums later, as the song Sheer Heart Attack wasn't ready/appropriate at the time)

He has said a lot of different things. 18 tracks, with 10 bonus tracks.
See you next summer, with lots  of new songs.
Round  1.
Finishing touches.

Etc etc.

so who really knows?

To be honest I don't think Axl knows what he's talking about half the time, so what chance do we have?
