Which eurotubes should i buy for that Appetite tone with Alnico Pro's? EL84's, EL34's or 6L6's? And which preamps? ECC83s?
Slash mostly uses amps that are loaded with EL34s. ECC83 / 12AX7 are used in the pre amp position of most modern amps. For EL34's I prefer SED (formerly Svetlana), make sure they have the winged c logo like this: =C= For 12AX7's I like the newer 9th generation Chinese tubes or Electro Harmonix. JJ/Teslas are pretty good too, though not my favorite.
