Resurrection Absurd and The Eternal Fall are two EPs that came out 2 and 1 years before Death's album Human, respectively. As I listen to them more, the more I think that Death took more than a few ideas from these EPs. Even the vocalist sounds a lot like Chuck!  Shocked The guitar tone and playing style of the two bands are very similar, except Morgoth isn't quite as fast. But damn, they are both smokin' hot middle period death metal, the best type. Not punkish like Possessed, and not br00tal like Cannibal Corpse. Just technical, progressive, heaviness.

Why is Morgoth forgotten and everyone who isn't a loser knows about Death? Wink
