Ron played the barred versions of Slash's open chords with a mix of the vocal lines. I'm sure a tab will come out before Chinese Democracy does.

yeah he did i specifically asked ron this in a chat session and he said that he mixed all kinda of melodies together...

Why don't you just figure it out yourself, there's tons of videos of him playing it, if you cant make out the notes you can just look at where his fingures are on the fret board and it should be easy. IMO figuring out stuff on your own is a lot more rewarding and helps you progress as a guitar player a lot quiker.

Well I suggested that if you couldn't learn it by ear then you could just look at his fingures as an alternative. I wasn't putting the two on the same level but saying that if you weren't able to learn from just the notes you could just look at his fingures as an easier way to learn it.
