Title: Maradona in World cup Germany 2006
Post by: brownstone981 on April 17, 2006, 06:42:28 PM
http://www.eldiezal2006.com.ar

The purpose of this website is to collect the names of people who would support the proposal that allows Diego Maradona to take part in one of the games in the 2006 World Cup in Germany for at least 5 minutes.

Nobody doubts that Diego Maradona was the best soccer player in history....
.... but because of the story of his life, because of how he recovered from so many things and because of the emotions he generates still today, we want much more than that.

We want no comparison to be possible, and this is the way we suggest to do it.

Hence, we are collecting people who would support the idea, so that we can formally suggest it to AFA later on.

You're right, he didn't have half the talent...he had twice as much. And he didn't need to cheat to win either.

He isn't he is quite on shape right now, well at least better than a few years ago.
Anyway I'm thinking garrincha is better than pele and maradona  :P
As pele said if it wasn't for garrincha he wouldn't be as he was
