Meh, I don't really care for this one.   I enjoyed Hard Skool & Absurd more.... but great to see them release something - hopefully it works for others!

A follow up to my earlier post:

(I know, I'm late to the party...busy work days):

Quote

We got it yesterday.  We can play it tonight at midnight.  Should be up for streaming at midnight the 17th/18th.

Basically the same plan that was in place before....a week later.

This cat is way harder on it than I am.  As I've said, I like the song itself.

But his other points...you are just living in fantasyland if you don't think that sentiment is out there.

Would I have put 'Perhaps' on CD over a few tracks that made the cut?  Yeah.  I would.  Would it be in the top 5-7 tunes from that album if I did?  Probably not.

Called up and requested it on my local rock station 95.9 WRAT here at the Jersey Shore.  It was my first listen of the song, I like it a lot!  Looking forward to getting it on iTunes at midnight.

Sorry to say it but I'm camping with that guy.  Up to the band the direction they want to go, I'm just not following along.

I’m getting off this train it’s a fucking joke Guns N’ Roses has become a kin to kiss.  The fact that they can’t put out anything new since 2016 is pathetic.  None of these songs even sound like Guns N’ Roses. I don’t even understand the direction of their music anymore.  To each their own. Quite frankly, they’ve become a  cash grab touring  band ,that’s it .  You’d think between all their talent they could actually released a memorable, decent song. It’s quite clear now how instrumental Izzy was in there music catalogue

I was at the show at Metlife on Tuesday. Anytime they played a chidem song or new i.e. hard skool or absurd fans didn't react like they do for any of the UYI or Appetite songs they play live. if they want to unload the coffers of Chidem era songs this way let them do it and im sure once this tour is over if they plan to put out music that they have come up with since reforming then id look at 2024 for that. People with this band are never happy they don't release music for years people complain. They release new songs people complain oh its an old song that was leaked out years ago you sound like a fan who will never be happy with what this band does.

I’m not complaining it’s just becomes satire.   90% of the people on this forum know it. I don’t give a shit what they do. Doesn’t change the fact that everything they’ve put out in the last few years is junk.

You are definitely complaining, and you say you don't care, but you care enough to say that you don't care. Take a break. I did after the 2014 Vegas Residency. Maybe they will work on new music like Slash said he wants to.

But, it may not sound like UYI no matter what 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m not complaining, I’m stating my sentiments, and this single by the way has been the messiest dumbest release ever it was supposed to be released a week ago then it leaked. why reunite to release music from a different band.  Perhaps I am wrong. Hey hey, but I don’t believe you.

I have not listened
To any demos or leaks
Since 2008.

It’s all new to me…
Perhaps, Atlas, State of Grace…
Never heard any.

No locker room leaks,
Zero.  It’s ALL new to me.
So…I’m excited!!!

I think I do too.  But, you know...it's funny.

To this day, my favorite versions of 'Chinese Democracy', 'Street Of Dreams' and 'Madagascar' are from RIR III.

Are they better than that album version?  Maybe, maybe not.

Or maybe its just that I wore those RIR III tracks out for SEVEN YEARS before I got a studio version.

Kind of hard to shake what you are already used to.

'Hard Skool' definitely the catchiest thing from those sessions.  Only other contender is probably 'Better'.
