shhh... ::) well encoded MP3s are great for listening and collecting. I say WELL encoded, that means quality encoder like LAME, at least 160kbps, better 192kbps. of course these are bad for trading, because they're lossy, that means the original sound is lost and it can't be restored.

FLACS are made to preserve the original quality. the only possible choice for trading. but pretty useless for normal home listening, they're 5x bigger than decent MP3 and the difference is notable only using expensive speakers.

as you can see, both formats are usable for different situations. no need to fight and bash like little kids. end of story.

Well, I dont see any problem about trading MP3 stuff with other people that want MP3 stuff.

The only problem is not stating the format, and it's even worse if you ''cheat'' traders making FLAC's from MP3.

If you clearly state that your stuff is lossy, no problem at all.
