I heard some horrible reviews of MLB 06 and almost didnt get it. However since there was no other new version for the Xbox, I got it anyway. I think its quite good. I really enjoy the Inside Edge feature. The audio gets screwed up quite a bit and doesnt match whats actually happening on the field. I've gotten to the point that I just turn the sound off and listen to music while I play.

Yeah both Fallouts were absolutely ace.
They deserve extra props from being very politically incorrect  and violent while managing to stay credible and true to their own world. You could do drugs, get addicted, kill children, have slaves, buy whores..and none of that stuff ever felt out of the place.
None of it felt like a disconnected feature thrown in there just for the sake of being  controversial. it's a lot more than you can say from violent games of today that are often violent just for the sake of being violent.

stunning graphics, just unreal - maybe the best yet on a console

...gameplay wise, its fun for a while but doesnt have enough options or depth

The 20 on one combat is great fun - when you pull off combos (everything done with one button Undecided) it goes into a cool cinematic view

^I haven't owned a system since Nintendo's original back in '86 but I have a hard time believing anything is/was better than the original Legend of Zelda (played completely without any cheats).  Oh yeah!   yes

MLB 2k8 is utter crap.  The game lags so much and the playability of the new pitching shit sucks. 

Next game to try is Army of Two.
