Title: why do men write the best love songs? Post by: journey on April 26, 2009, 02:59:52 PM If women are considered to be the emotional ones, why is it that men write the most emotionally-charged love songs? Even 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' was written by a man (Jim Steinman).

I don't know about that. It's probably about even in that department. I think Carole King and Joni Mitchell would disagree as would Diane Warren I wasn't implying that women don't write great love songs. It's just fascinating that there are so many stereotypes about men. It sort of debunks the old argument that men are wired differently than women emotionally.
