Ever have a friend of the opposite sex you are good friends with, wish it was something more, but you know it would ruin the friendship to tell that person?

I had the same problem. My advice is do what Charlie GMS said. Or just give yourself time to get over it.

Yes.  And it was very painful, still is occasionally.  I don't regret it though because it actually ended up bringing us closer together in the long run.  Glad I did it.  Yep, yep  yes
