make one official site

I have been thinking about how lack of news gets everyone down and how gnr's camp seems to not get much info out fot he fans.. I believe that's a major piece missing for us in general.

I didn't know where to make this suggestion so I figured here.. We have a few big sites on the net for gnr and I figure some of you webmasters are friends, like sladdi ,bp, etc..

My point is why not join forces and get together and contact gnr's team, merch whoever it is, and try and ask them if one of you guys or together as a team could be gnr's official site. I think this would make everyone happy..

Now everything could go through one site and all the info would be straight from gnr's camp and this would be their way to keep us informed and everything of that nature.. I could see them really appreciating something of this nature, now all teh abnd mates could post through this one site and we'd all be ahppy, maybe the band could post every now and then, answer some questions , etc..

I think it would be amazing and something I'm sure alot of people would be interested in, worse thing is you guys could try.

Something similar happened on the Manson board...

...Okay, so Manson is much more in contact with his fans (even posted on the board a few years back, don't know if he still does), but the guy went power crazy and the board went shit.

Totally irrelevent, but I just remembered.

This has been suggested before, and there was even a rumour (that proved to be untrue......) that jarmo had been asked to moderate an official board.

It would be brilliant, but I doubt it would ever happen...

Do you know what would be more simple?

I believe for any site to be considered "official" it would have to be sanctioned by the band.

I don't really see that happening    I'm sure if and when they have a website, they will choose someone they know very well as the webmaster.

That's why I said get in touch with gnr's team... All the groundowrk seems here, axl seemed pleased with jarmo, and it would be better for the fans..

I think devoted fans should have info first..
