Post by: Slashly on July 15, 2004, 05:06:33 PM I dont know If you already knew but it?s true.Today I was listening to it and as my guitar is tuned half step down I wasnt playing.I took my guitar and played a D chord, and it was the same as FTP D chord.I though I was tuned normal, but then I put SMF on and tried to play it and I realized I was half step down indeed.

I think gnr tuned the their instruments one half step down because it sounds heavier. I tune my guitars one half step down so I can play gnr songs, also it is a lot easier to bend strings, and a lot harder to break strings. I don't have the velvet revolver album... Oh yeah, Illegal i is gay, there's one note, that little 4 or 5 notes descending riff that goes down to D. It's like the only part of the song which needs the low tuning.
