Title: How bout them Devils Post by: A.L.R. on May 23, 2003, 09:49:44 PM New Jersey Devils to be exact. I just watched them beat Ottawa and well that was 1 good game especially becuz my team came out on top. Im a huge Devils fan over here in New Jersey(yes yes i will be going to the Stanley Cup for all Devils home games) and im wondering wat hockey teams the g n' r fans like

[crying] I was really hoping Ottawa would get the Cup because it would be nice if Roger Neilson's name was on the Cup, finally, after so many years of coaching and being a great contributor to the game. He's battling cancer right now...I don't think he's got very long to live. [no]
I'm hoping Anaheim wins it all. J-S Giguere has been amazing (he'll probably win the Conn Smythe trophy as playoff MVP) and it'd be nice to see Adam Oates and Steve Thomas get the Cup after so many years of playing hockey. I really like Paul Kariya too. [ok] Title: Re:How bout them Devils Post by: A.L.R. on May 24, 2003, 09:28:20 AM The Ducks are going down just like every cinderella team in the Stanley Cup(96 Panthers, last years Hurricanes) Devils will no doubt in my mind have their 2nd cup in 4 years. Jiggy gets very lucky on some plays, im not trying to take anything from him because he has been amazing but he always gets lucky on the really tough plays.

Title: Re:How bout them Devils Post by: A.L.R. on June 26, 2003, 03:08:13 PM hehe... lets go devils is right...and for all those people that say New Jersey has bad fans- i was there Game 7 and it was fucking electric and i know for a fact that the ducks fans even if they were winning wouldnt have been that loud in Anaheim. The floor was shaking and you couldnt even hear the announcer say"1 minute left in the period , 1111111111 minute" it was fucking loud. The loudest ive ever hear it there was when the devils first came on the ice and then it was much louder when daneyko threw his gloves in the air and every single fan was in pure euphoria. Hell was heaven for game 7. it was certainly one day i will never forget especially hearing about Giguere crying- wat a little girl.
