People...please leave the updates topic to Spirit...went straight to the 1st page to see the setlist and clips compilation..but nothing. Undecided
Spirit does a hellaofajob putting this shit together! beer

YES, I VOTE Spirit STARTS ALL INDIVIDUAL SHOW THREADS......

F-O-R-E-V-E-RRRRRRR!!!!!!

Appreciate it guys!  Smiley

But I'm not sure I want to sign up to be the "update guy", especially with shows which are in a time zone that differs up to 9 hours from mine.. haha.

I had no problem doing it these past weeks as I was off work in this period, glad to do it actually. Smiley

Too late buddy, you're the chosen one  hihi

@ jarmo, can we please give HTGTH member Spirit the title Chosen One under his name?

@ Spirit, it's not so much the live updates that I appreciate, it's the set list and best filmed versions of each song you list in the days that follow that is dynamic!

Agreed 100% And also how he "directs" the original thread starter to update it. And the one thread he didn't "direct" them, it wasn't done.

The guy who arranged for Duff's plane ride to Coachella got a seat at the sound board for the concert:

Axl, love you, but please get a wardrobe assistant. Style is so cheesy.

Axl has never needed a wardrobe assistant. The mother fucker always wore whatever the hell he wanted and always made it cool. Kilts, bandanas, cowboy hats, T shirts, biker shorts, spandex, flannels, police hats, a smorgasbord of "whatever the fuck he wants" But, I do agree that some of his "look," although very "rock n roll," (cowboy boots, cowboy hat, ripped jeans, black t shirts, bandanas, etc.) does appear a bit stiff, frumpy and "costume-ish" as opposed to organic, lose, natural, and free. Personally, I would like to see him wear shorts and his cool variety of T shirts and a bandana and baseball cap on backwards, or even his police hat again.

As he continues to lose weight, which is very evident from comparing Vegas and last night, and after he starts running around again, I think we will see Axl remove the heavy leather jacket and fedora. Also, it will be "summer time" during the tour, so his clothing will naturally be lighter and less frumpy.
I like to see more T shirts and baseball caps versus frumpy leather jackets and fedoras.
I think the Axl that is moving around more needs clothes that are slinkier and trimmer, as opposed to frumpy jackets and "stiff" hats. He needs a more casual, lose look to match he lose, raspy rock n roll voice.

But in the final analysis, he is Axl fuckin Rose, and he can wear whatever the hell he pleases . . . . if he keeps bringing it vocally like he has these first seven shows, then he can wear whatever the fuck he wants . .  . that even means cornrows and jerseys.

It seems they have an awesome visual effects preset for every different song...even the ones played one time only!

Great that they played OTGM, but I think this was Axl's weakest show. In the videos I saw his voice seemed to be losing it's power. Maybe because it was a busy week, I don't know.

Anybody know where to find the pro shot stream of GNR's performance? I've been looking on YouTube and haven't heard it on SiriusXM yet.

After hearing the soundboard sound from the official stream I can't help but think they would do good releasing the shows' audio on their website. They sound magnificent.

I can understand if they didn't want the pro-shot footage out there before the big tour, and went for a teaser type of deal with a couple of songs from each set.

Audio is a different thing though, it wouldn't impact ticket sales I think. It's different if you as a casual fan have *seen* the show beforehand.

I know the idea has been aired before from time to time, and I'm sure the management is aware of the possibility. Maybe the thing that could tip the idea in our favor would be some sort of showing of interest for it. Let them know it's a thing that will most certainly be very popular among the GN'R fans.

$9.99 for the show in mp3-format
$14.99 for a lossless format

If they did physical copies as well (as I know Metallica and Pearl Jam are doing), that could be $19.99.

Release a box-set of the whole tour (or the select best shows) by the end, and many who didn't pick up shows along the way would go for that.

It's probably not as easy as I make it out to be, as I'm sure the record company would have to be on-board with the idea and provide their service for such a project. But in these "petition-times", if there ever were anything I would sign up for, it would be a petition to show interest of such an offer. Not a *demand* or anything, but more testing the waters so to speak.
