Robin Finck played guitar with Duff McKagan on the "Beleive In Me" solo tour.... I have one of Robin's guitar pics from a show... It has Robins autograph on one side and the believe in me logo on the other.

I haven't managed to find much info on this though... apart from Duff saying something like "Yeah I already knew Robin... he is a great player... we played together a few times".

That is all I know about it and wondered if any of you guys knew anything?

Just found this on an article on the main page

Quote
HF : How did you react when Axl hired the bassist Tommy Stinson [ex-Replacements] and the guitarist Robin Finck [ex-Nine Inch Nails]?

D : I played with Robin a few times and he?s a great guy. But if I were Axl, in no way would I call that band Guns N? Roses. The kids know GNR. No need to explain you, just listen to the albums we recorded. You can?t argue with that. For me, too much discussion would make the music lose its value. The kids have an idea of what that band is. My reaction? I thought : ? This is not cool, it?s not the right thing to do, but it?s none of my business. If he thinks it?s right....

umm sorry dude.. but you are wrong
1. Believe in Me Tour was in 93-94... Robin Finkc joined in 97 to GNR
2.This is the touring band of the tour:
Duff McKagan: Vocals and Rhythm Guitar
Joie Mastrokalos: Lead Guitar
Richard Duguay: Bass
Aaron Brooks: Drums
3. In 93 Robin wasnt even famous was goth guitar player who also was a bouncer in a club in georgia... in March of 94 he joined Trent Reznor in the biggest and most succesful tours that NIN have had... Self Destruction 94 / Outside (with Bowie) 95 Tours

Yeah... I don't think Robin was a full time guitar player on the tour... from what I understand he played only a few shows.

I saw a Ticket that Robin signed and it was the same. Do you have a picture of Robin's autograph then?

blaqktiger, I have no reason not to believe you. Thanx for pics.
It's an autograph, it's not a contract, the signature may be different.

I saw that.. but to me that just looks like a letter and he wrote his name at the end... On another forum some guy who went to a Hammerstein show met Robin and got his ticket signed.. it was the exact same autograph on my pic. I just have to find it to "prove" myself.

Thanks Lara...  Smiley
