Personally, I love the fact that Buckethead is still on multiple tracks, but now that he's not "in" the band, and CD is actually a reality I wonder how he feels about the whole thing. Also, since I don't really know the actual circumstances for his departure, do you think there is a chance he would come back for a tour?

He's probably happy he'll be making some $$$ with writing credits and choking his chicken.   Tongue

Axl's statement about Bucket when he left made it seem as if he didn't want Bucket back.

I wonder if he'll do a few guest appearences when the band are on the road?

He's thrilled. He's about to get some big royalty checks.

This.

And Bucket is a serious artist, who I'm sure worked very hard during his sessions for CD. I'm sure he's happy to have his hard work finally come to light.

Axl's statement about Bucket when he left made it seem as if he didn't want Bucket back.

But Axl's statement about sharing his Dr. Pepper with Buckethead makes it seem as if Axl's moved past the circumstances surrounding BH's exit  to the point of at least leaving some of BH's artistic contributions on the album so I would think that both men have come to some kind of consenus on what their business relationship is and will or won't be in the future.

I'm sure he'll like it.  He gets the exposure, royalties, and publicity without doing anything!  All of his work has already been done.  He gets to continue to be "transient" (as Axl said) and do his own thing w/o the hassle of being in a big band like GN'R.
